Astrological databases and data banks

For all those who already know what the thematic sets and astrology database are, a link to resource where these sets are will be enough. Have a go at this link and see the astrology database. And we will continue the educational program with the rest.

Astrological databases are not a mysterious phrase, and has quite "earthly" definition. First, it's necessary to understand in terms.

Astrological database is a set of data related to the subject area of astrology in the form of specific astrological data with specified parameters for creating charts. For example, to create a horoscope or, as astrologers say, a natal chart, the date-time of querent's birth is required at least taking into account the time zone and city with geographic coordinates.

You can not imagine how important it is, having the natal data, not to be mistaken in determining the time offset to introduce the birth in Coordinated Universal Time. Astrological program calculates this kind of corrections. But don't trust 100% any program, since any program calculates the time offsets based on the tables which a programmer set into it. You can hunt for the second, but lose an hour and create the wrong natal chart as a result. Therefore, it's extremely important to have among the data both time offset and indication of the rising sign position as Asc degree (Ascendant). And it is very important to remember about the house system which an astrologer used to achive the complete rectification. The house system is probably a bottle neck in all Astrology. But I won't distract you and let's start our theme: astrological database.

Astrological database without additional thematic characteristics is not of particular interest, since it does not allow to perform the analysis. Take for example a data set where there are natal charts of people of different professions. Now what to do when they all jumbled together, ie, we simultaneously see teachers and military personnel, artists and health professionals? That's right. Just sort through them, assign additional parameters to these charts to distinguish one profession from another.

Natal charts are the simplest and most effective tool for the analysis. By analyzing them, we can identify personal and general characteristics of a certain group, and give very specific recommendations on this basis. And even if you know the birth time within a few minutes, this will be enough to give a hint to parents where they can involve a child in. But it is not enough for prognosis, because as no one else an astrological forecast requires the exact time of birth. And yet astrological prognosis is the most attractive part of astrology, for the majority want to look ahead and soften the blow one way or another. Just imagine, a 4-minute error in birth time can give a one-year error in forecast for a querent. This is all very interesting, but as our theme is an astrological database, so we will not discuss question of correcting the time. Let’s defer the process of rectification of the natal chart for future consideration and talk about the thematic sets of astrological data.

Event database is of particular significance: natal charts with related number of events in the life of these people, with attributes in the form of the astrological themes of events and their accuracy. This kind of thematic sets allow to determine features of the planet involvement in people's lives.

Thematic data sets are the most interesting in the astrological databases. These data are narrowly targeted and limited to certain characteristics. They will be of particular interest to astrologers. Thematic filters allow to work with a group of charts of a single set. Let's see what astrological thematic sets are. Take a group of actors’ natal charts. Analyzing this group, for example, using the Laboratory program, which is part of Galaxy - Astrological Tools astrological software package, we can understand what kind of chart objects are common for this group. Then relying on the knowledge gained from the analysis, the parents will get information that their child is a born actor and has every reason to be famous.

Thematic data sets are our goal. These thematic sets are presented in an open exchange CALIF format. You can read here what CALIF is. This format allows to provide data for charts with a sufficiently large set of additional parameters which are essential for the automated analysis of charts and identification of common features. Without this kind of characteristics, you, for example, will not be able to analyze the event charts because relation of event to a particular natal chart, the event theme and its accuracy are essential for the correct creating the event in the form of cross-chart (natal-event). This is extremely important for this type of analysis.

Those who heroically reached the end of this article I suggest to take a look at our astrological database provided by different sets of thematic data. A list presented by thematic sets will grow and develop. PLease, pay attention to the timestamp of the form (20160327) which indicates the date of thematic set creation/edition (in this example is 27 March 2016).
